Cutting & Scoring: 

  • Basic Black – 5 ½“ x 8 ½“, scored at 4 ¼“

  • Whisper White (inside matte) – 5 ¼” x 4”

  • Whisper White (outside matte) – 5” x 3 ¾”

  • Basic Black – 4 ¼“ x 3”

  • Broadway Bound DSP – 4” x 2 ¾“ 

  • Basic Black – scrap for circle

  • Whisper White – scrap for circle and candles

  • Whisper White – 3” x 7/16”

  • Gold Foil – scrap for flames

Instructions:

  • Fold card base in half and burnish with the bone folder

  • Using the Big Shot, emboss the Whisper White outside matte using the Sparkle embossing folder

  • Attach the ends of the ribbon behind this matte using Tear & Tape

  • Adhere this layer to the card front using liquid glue

  • Adhere the layer of DSP to the Basic Black layer that is slightly larger than it

  • Adhere this layer to the card front using dimensionals

  • Using Memento ink, stamp three candles on the scrap of Whisper White and stamp the sentiment on the strip of Whisper White

  • Banner punch the ends of the label

  • Using the Big Shot, die cut the three candles, stitched circle, scalloped circle and three flames with the appropriate dies and paper

  • Using liquid glue, adhere the Whisper White stitched circle to the scalloped Basic Black circle

  • Adhere this layer to the card base using dimensionals

  • Glue the three candles to the circle using liquid glue

  • Attach the flames above the candles and label over the candles using mini dimensionals

  • Using Memento ink, stamp a sentiment on the inside of the card

  • Stamp a party hat over the sentiment using either the Bermuda Bay or Melon Mambo ink

  • Adhere the inside matte on the inside of the card using liquid glue
