Hello To A Wild Rose...Meet Pretty Peacock

This is my most absolute favorite new In Color…..meet Pretty Peacock….isn’t it gorgeous?!?

Stampin’ Up! Supplies:

  • STAMPS – To A Wild Rose (Photopolymer (151073)

  • PAPER – Pretty Peacock (150880), Whisper White (100730), 2019-2021 In Color DSP (149617), Old Olive (100702), Vellum Cardstock (101856)

  • INK – Pretty Peacock (150083)

  • OTHER – ½“ Scalloped Linen Ribbon (149751), In Color Faceted Dots (149607), Wink of Stella (141897), Bone Folder (102300), Mini Dimensionals (144108), Liquid Glue (110755), Tear & Tape (138995), Mini Glue Dots (103683)

Cutting & Scoring:

  • Pretty Peacock – 5 ½“ x 8 ½“, score and fold at 4 ¼“

  • Whisper White (inside matte) – 5 ¼” x 4”

  • DSP – 3” x 4”

  • Pretty Peacock – 3 ¼” x 4 ¼”

  • Whisper White – 3” x 4”

  • Whisper White – 3” x 3”

  • Old Olive – scrap for leaf

  • Vellum – scrap for leaf

  • Scalloped Linen Ribbon – 5”

Instructions:

  • Using Pretty Peacock ink, stamp a sentiment on the 3” x 4” piece of Whisper White on the righthand side of the paper towards the middle allowing room for the ribbon below the sentiment

  • Using Pretty Peacock ink, stamp the outlined rose stamp on the 3” x 3” piece of Whisper White at first strength, stamp the second layer of the rose at second strength, and stamp the third layer at second strength (it helps to place a dot on the same petal of all three stamps for easy alignment)

  • Using a die cutting machine, die cut the rose, a solid leaf from the scrap of Old Olive and the smaller leaf from the scrap of Vellum

  • Using liquid glue, adhere the layer of DSP to the lefthand side of the cardbase

  • Using Tear & Tape or Mini Glue Dots, adhere the ends of the ribbon behind the Whisper White matte

  • Adhere this layer to the card base using mini dimensionals

  • Stella the leaves

  • Adhere the leaves behind the back side of the rose using Tear & Tape

  • Place mini dimensionals behind the rose / leaf layer in numerous spots and add to the card front on the left side

  • Place one each of the three sizes of faceted gems to the card front with the largest going in the center of the flower

  • Stamp a sentiment on the inside Whisper White matte using Pretty Peacock ink

  • Attach the inside Whisper White matte to the inside of the card using liquid glue
